Rainbow Cupcakes, a Science lesson.

Today for our home school co-op I taught the kids about rainbows and how they form. I showed them  a quick rainbow demonstration on how rainbows form and why. Here is a link of the rainbow science lesson I did.

Next they learned the saying ROY G BIV to remember the colors of the rainbow.And colored a rainbow coloring sheet.

To top off the lesson I made rainbow cupcakes. Now I am usually not a fan of food coloring but every once in a while should be OK. Here is a link to the recipe for the cupcakes.

As always the kids loved there science lesson, made extra fun by an edible experiment.
